This collaborative event is sponsored by Indiana Dunes State Park, Save the Dunes, Great Lakes Coastal Program, Plastic Reduction Alliance, and Alliance for the Great Lakes. At the Nature Center, gain insights from Dr. Julie Peller of Valparaiso University and her research focused on micro and nano plastics and the impacts single use plastics have on both the human body and the environment. Following the presentation, the group will help clean the beach!
